This year’s Global Day of Prayer is an invitation to rest in intimacy with our creator: God with us. Jesus invites us to “come away with him to a quiet place to rest” (Mark 6:31). He gave this invitation to his disciples after they returned excited, tired, and hungry from their first “missions trip,” and he’s also inviting you to do the same. Young Life’s Mission Lead Team is asking you to set aside October 13 for a day of prayer — alone with God and together with your team — lifting up the mission of Young Life around the world.

Mark your calendar now for October 13, 2026. Prayer resources (a solitude guide and teams guide) will be available mid-September in multiple languages available on the Day of Prayer site.
