We’re rolling out key updates to our screening processes for U.S. Young Life staff and volunteers. These changes affirm our commitment to child safety while providing streamlined tools to more efficiently manage screening and compliance courses.
Screening and compliance courses went live on December 11 and are now available in the new course dashboard. Also, the new screening requirements for all U.S. staff and volunteers are going into effect. These new requirements will help ensure that we provide safe and welcoming environments for students while complying with state and federal regulations.
January 8 Update:
We’re pleased to share that email notifications about required screenings are now being sent. Please note we have identified an issue in the January 7 notification email that affected some Apple Mail users — the course dashboard link was inaccessible. If you are having trouble accessing the course dashboard from the email notification, you can visit your dashboard directly at https://connect.younglife.org/s/courses. We’re working to resolve this issue, and future reminder emails will include a corrected link.
Make sure to complete the new required screenings and if you supervise volunteers, please connect with them about these new requirements.
