We’re continuing to provide regular updates on our key priorities for Workday. We’re working hard to alleviate issues so staff can use the tool and get back to doing what they do best — developing leaders and caring for young people.

Looking for information on how to use Workday? We have two places to find information and these sources will continue to become more organized over the coming months.
YL Knowledge: For a “Google-like” experience, search keywords and topics in YL Knowledge. Like “How do I submit an expense report?”
Staff Resources Workday Training page: For a list of current PDF resources about each topic, that can still be accessed on Staff Resources.
Requesting changes – If you need to request changes to sup orgs, cost centers, or mission unit structures, please work through your regional office, executive admins, or divisional operations teams.
Don’t forget that Adaptive picks up its cost center hierarchy directly from Workday. If a cost center is missing from the hierarchy you have access to, reach out to your Regional Admin or Divisional Ops team to get that fixed!
Once submitted, requests are typically processed within 5-10 business days.

November financials closed on December 18. Review reports in Adaptive for details for your cost center.
Adaptive
We’ve trained more than 200 staff on how to use Adaptive in the past six weeks through our office hour sessions. We are continuing to offer these office hours — join an upcoming training to learn more about Adaptive. (Upcoming and past training recordings are available on Staff Resources.)
If you are working in Adaptive and you believe you’ve found inaccurate financial data, please let Financial Services know! Keep in mind that Adaptive updates financial information daily at 12 a.m. MST.
We also have a team checking the data transfer from Workday to Adaptive daily to ensure financial data is accurate, but please let Financial Services know about any inaccuracies you may see so we can continue to refine the many financial processes we are managing.
