In March 2025, the Global Staff Engagement Survey invited staff to share their overall engagement with Young Life, while also helping to determine best practices and priorities in the mission.
This survey was part of our broader effort to listen to one another, have honest conversations, make meaningful changes, and go together. Our prayer throughout this process has been rooted in the spirit of Philippians 2 — that we would become more united in Christ, having the same love, being one in spirit and mind, and look not only to our own interests, but to the interests of others.
We’ve reviewed and compiled what you shared, and these insights reflect the heart and perspective of staff across the global mission. We have a summary of high-level results available in various languages, which you can access through Staff Resources.
What’s Next?
• We’ll have resources for leaders to facilitate healthy conversations with their teams and identify meaningful next steps.
• We are identifying priorities based on the data that also aligns with the culture we want to create — this includes continuing to listen, respond, and measure our progress as we go forward.
