We are excited to introduce a new Summer Staff application, now integrated with YL Connect. This updated application process is designed to be more streamlined, thoughtful, and inclusive, ensuring a welcoming experience for all volunteers, including those from Capernaum and YoungLives. And integration with YL Connect will provide improved volunteer data, allowing us to better understand and report on where our volunteers are coming from and the roles they have served.

What’s New?

• User-Friendly Application: The new process is designed to be more accessible, with updates that remove barriers to entry and support a diverse range of volunteers.
• Enhanced Integration: YL Connect integration means improved volunteer data tracking, allowing us to better understand and report on where our volunteers come from and the roles they serve.
• Automated Communications: Applicants will receive automated email updates on their application status, with reminders also sent to recommenders. Applicants can also opt-in for SMS notifications.
• Expanded Recommendations: Recommendations can now be submitted not only by Young Life staff and volunteers but also by non-Young Life staff, such as pastors or mentors.
• Linked Applications for Capernaum and YoungLives: We can now directly link a Capernaum student’s application with their coach or a YoungLives student’s application with their childcare provider, allowing them to move through the process together.
• Reporting Features: You can easily view and monitor candidates from your area within YL Connect.
