Developing Global Leaders (DGL) is a program that awards full-ride education scholarships to Young Life leaders around the world (mainly in developing countries). DGL students pursue a university education in their own countries, positioning them to be Christ-centered, transformative leaders in their chosen fields and local communities. Sponsoring a student in DGL is an opportunity to participate in the global story of Young Life.
If you’re a U.S. area, here’s how to participate:
• In your budget planning process, find “Transfers Out/Internal Charges” at the bottom of your Cash Flow.
• Add a new planned transfer to XR806 within this budget line.</div
• Choose your sponsorship amount. A full DGL Student Scholarship is $250 per month.
• Notify DGL at amorman@intl.younglife.org to connect you with a student and initiate your transfer for you.
