Do you want to pursue higher education, but feel overwhelmed by how to make your goal a reality?
Through Learning and Leadership’s Credit for Prior Learning program, Young Life staff can apply completed, required learning experiences toward undergraduate and graduate academic programs with partner schools. This means the work you’ve already done can help you earn a degree with less cost and possibly sooner than you expected!
Eligible learning experiences include:
- New Staff Training / Intro to Youth Ministry
- Leadership 1
- Leadership 2
- New Testament
- Systematic Theology
- Old Testament
- Other approved Learning and Leadership offerings
To get credit for prior learning experiences:
- Secure your enrollment in a partner seminary school.
- Submit a registration application (opens February 1, 2026).
- Once approved, complete your six-month Credit for Prior Learning course (opens March 1, 2026).
- Receive transfer credit toward your academic program.
