Best Practices for Your P Card Expense Report

If you are a P Card holder, remember that timely expense reports ensure Young Life accurately assigns spending to the appropriate ledger accounts, which is essential for your cost center’s budgeting and for IRS compliance. Without a submitted report, your transactions remain incomplete, lacking a business purpose and account classification, and consequently, you do not have an accurate financial picture for your cost center.

We’ve identified issues that have been occurring with our P Card notifications and are working to resolve these issues soon. We apologize for the confusion with these notifications and are committed to getting them back online and working correctly. 

As we continue to address the notification issues, we also wanted to offer some new Workday best practices for expense reports and personal use. Please refer to this resource and be sure to submit your expenses at least once per month.
